This week has not been highly eventful so far, but Caleb has had a couple of new firsts. This weekend we purchased Caleb his first car. This car should serve as a rocker, ride along thing with parent handle, ride along on his own, and a walker. It grows as he grows. Nice. Caleb and Daddy put the car together and then Caleb rode his car around the house (the weather was too yucky to go outside). He's not so much a fan of the "rocking" aspect of it because it doesn't really move that much and Caleb likes motion but it's great when both Mommy and Daddy are home to push him back and forth. Now I can't wait until he learns to propel himself!
Caleb also tried his first finger foods on Sunday: baby teething biscotti. Sounds fancy, huh?! Well, I doubt any food that dissolves with your saliva is really that fancy, but Caleb seemed to enjoy it. I guess all his practice of putting his pacifier in his mouth on his own had prepared him for feeding himself finger foods. He never once missed his mouth! What an eating champ!
Here's a slideshow of pictures of his new firsts.
