Yes, its that time of year my friends. Its time for Christmas. Yes, Christmas. Thanksgiving is in the States next week so decorations have been recently put on the shelf, but here in England, Christmas decorations have been available for purchase since before Halloween. Seriously. Plus, Cheryl bought our first decorations last Friday.

People mark the start of the holiday season many different ways. The crazy shopping the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas lights going up around the neighborhood, or the release of specially marked Coke cans (“Santa pack are coming, Santa packs are coming”).

For me, its The Red Cup and what The Red Cup signifies.

Red Cups mean the release of the holiday beverages at Starbucks, and most of all their Christmas Blend coffee.

I also have a penchant for their (skinny) Gingerbread Latte. I already purchased my first bag of Christmas Blend and have been enjoying it for the past week or so. I will most definitely purchase a lot of it towards Christmas Day to stock up once its gone.
